Researcher
Alessandro Fusi is a researcher in the field of development cooperation, focusing on social economy and development finance. He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in International Relations and European Studies from the University of Florence in Italy. He also earned a MA in African Studies from Leiden University in The Netherlands.
Throughout his career, Alessandro has worked in project management, advocacy & communication, policymaking, monitoring & evaluation and impact assessment for nonprofit organisations and international institutions across Italy, Belgium, and Kenya.
At ARCO, Alessandro supports the work of two teams: in the Social Economy & Sustainability Management Unit he works on research and consulting projects related to the field of social entrepreneurship in Italy and abroad, while in the Grants & Tenders Unit he scouts funding opportunities and supports other units in the application processes.
