Andrea Simoncini

Andrea Simoncini is full professor at the Law Department of the Florence University where he teaches Constitutional Law and Environmental Law; he clerked as assistant at the Italian Constitution Court and has been Fulbright Distinguished Fellow at the Notre Dame Law School and Visiting Professor at the Nanovic Institute for European Studies. He is currently permanent research fellow at the Notre Dame Center for Ethics and Culture. Professor Simoncini’s main research interests are currently focused on Italian and European constitutional law, development dynamics of the sources of law, social rights, environmental law and the study of the interrelations between natural law and positive legal systems.
