Coordinator
Marta Russo coordinates ARCO’s Impact Evaluation Unit.
Marta graduated in Development Economics at the University of Florence and, before joining ARCO, worked as a field researcher for BRAC Uganda and collaborated with the University College of London and the Institute for Fiscal Studies on impact evaluation projects in Developing Countries.
She is expert in the evaluation of international cooperation and development projects and programs, and she has experience in the application of both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, as well as in the coordination of extensive statistical surveys in CAPI, CAWI and CATI modes, which she conducted both in Europe and in Developing Countries.
Among the evaluation approaches used: experimental and quasi-experimental methods of impact evaluation; Social Network Analysis; Social Return on Investment; Result-based Evaluation (Theory of Change); Cost-benefit Analysis; non-experimental impact assessment methods.
She is particularly interested in childhood, education, vocational training and youth employment
