Coordinator
Andrea’s research activities focus on sustainable human development, industrial policies and social progress, international development cooperation, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), sustainability transition, youth participation, local economic development and participatory methods.
He has coordinated several research, training and evaluation projects in Armenia, Bolivia, Cape Verde, Dominican Republic, Ethiopia, Italy, Jordan, Mauritius, Palestine, and Uganda, as well as the project SPES – Sustainable Performances, Evidence & Scenarios funded by Horizon Europe.
He is former lecturer of Development Economics in the School of Economics and Management at the University of Florence. He holds a MSc in “Local Economic Development” from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a PhD in “Economics and Management of Innovation and Sustainability” from the University of Parma and University of Ferrara.
