Scientific Committee
Giacomo Manetti (PhD) is full professor of business administration at the department of economics and management of the University of Florence.
Since 2015 he has been a member of the commission for accrual accounting in the Italian universities (COEP) established at the Ministry of University and Research.
Since 2020 he has been a member of the board of directors of the Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence and a member of the general council of the CARIPT foundation.
Between 2015 and 2021 he was the representative of the associate professors of area 13 “economics and statistics” and coordinator of Commission IV “Planning and control of the university system’s resources” of the National University Council (CUN).

He currently teaches business administration in the undergraduate degree program in business administration and environmental and social reporting in the master’s degree program in economics.
His research interests include stakeholder theory, corporate social responsibility, sustainability reporting and assurance, third sector, and accounting history.
Since 2016 he has been a member of the Editorial Board of “Voluntas. International Journal of Voluntary and Nonprofit Organizations” published by Springer.
